From Portland Place to Piccadilly Circus, as far as the eye could see and under a clear blue sky, there were the young and old, the fit and not so fit, peoples representing the diversity of London life.
Their cause: a dignified protest at Israel’s escalating offensive leading to massive Palestinian civilian casualties.
Numbers were in the tens of thousands – possibly 30,000
