A life devoted to communities. Caring for people and as a result bringing smiles to the faces of orphans in far-flung corners of the world was the hallmark of Salim Sarang. He helped clean up the streets in his hometown, and helped bring water to the thirsty in the deserts of Africa. His devotion to helping the needy extended from former communist European states to Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Over 3,000 mourners attended Salim's funeral in Leicester (UK) and prayers for him were made from South Africa to Saudi Arabia, Kosova, Albania, Pakistan, India and Palestine.
