Grand Mufti of Bosnia. The recipient of numerous international awards for his work on interfaith dialogue, Dr. Mustafa Ceric, the Grand Mufti of Bosnia since 1999 has received global acclaim for his work in strengthening democracy and promoting world peace. He was considered a pivotal leader during the war with Serbia. He remains a strong voice for promotion of Islam in Europe today. The Grand Mufti sits on Council of 100 Leaders for the World Economic Forum and various other interfaith councils throughout Europe and the Middle East. A graduate of the Medressa of Sarajevo and attended Al Azhar University, Dr Ceric is a member of the European Council on Fatwa and Research under Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi.
