Acclaimed academician. In the Indian field of academia Syedain is acclaimed for his contributions to education. He authored many books including 'Andhi Main Chiragh', 'Rooh-e-Tahzib', 'Osul-e-Taleem', 'Afkar-e-Syedain' and 'Mazameen-e-Syedain' in Urdu and 'Iqbal's Educational Philosophy' and 'Islam the Religion of Peace', in English. Syedain was awarded honorary doctorate from Aligarh Muslim University, Padma Bhusan by the government of India, and in 1961 Columbia University also honoured him. Khawaja Ghulam Ul Syedain was born in Panipat.
