Film director. Waris, known on both sides of the Atlantic, has to his credit over 20 British and American TV films. He has directed stalwarts of Hollywood's fame such as in Divorce His, Divorce Hers, The Richest Man in the World: The Aristotle Onassis Story, Life of the Party: The Pamela Harriman Story, A Child's Wish (1997) and Sixth Happiness, chronicling of the life of a disabled in 1998. Waris Hussain was born in Lucknow, India, and is now based in London.
