Scholar. Mufti Nai'mi established his own college, Jam'iyah Nai'miyah that developed into an outstanding institution of Islamic learning. He was among those who rallied the 'Ulama to support the establishment of the Islamic state of Pakistan, and was secretary general of Jami'atul 'Ulama-e-Pakistan and member of the Majlis-e-Shoora set up by President Ziaul Haq. One of the most learned scholars of the Barelvi School, Muhammad Hussain Nai'mi, was born in Muradabad, India, and migrated to Pakistan in 1948.
