Abdul Qasim Kho'i

An Iranian Mujtahid.
Qasim founded cultural centres, mosques and publishing houses in Karachi, Bombay, London and New York.
Qasim was the author of Al bayan fi tafsir al-Qur'an, Al Masa'il al-muntakhabah and Minhaj al Salihin.
Qasim remained the only Ayatollah in Iraq after the Iraqi government expelled Ayatollah Khomeini in 1978.
Abdul Qasim was born in Kho'i, Azerbaijan, and studied in Iraq and was the spiritual guide of millions of Shias in Iran, Iraq, Pakistan and India.
