The Mughal painter who came to India during Akbar's reign. Faruque wrote a manuscript of Akbar Nama in 1008 A.H., and was a courtier of Jahangir in 1018 A.H. Jahangir in his Turk-e-Jahangiri called him as a painter without any peers. Robert Skelton published nineteen of his paintings in Art Orientales.
