Princess Shahnaz is a beauty therapist par excellence, whose herbal beauty products grace the bathrooms of film starts, presidents' wives and the British royal family. She started with a meagre loan from her father, and made it into an empire to the tune of $150m. Her beauty products sell through Shahnaz Herbals Saloons in all over the world and about a 100 Herbals Saloons in India that function under her franchise agreement. Her major turning point was at Selfridges in London in 1982, when her products were displayed there during the festival of India, and sold out within two hours. Princess Shahnaz is the recipient of many awards including the Woman of the Decade Award 1983, the Image India Award 1985. The FICCI outstanding woman of the year award in 1986. Princess Shahnaz Hussain lives in New Delhi and is the head of her beauty empire that is growing from strength to strength with a new Aryuvedic Health Resort on the US island of Saipan, another planned near Delhi, plus a chain of Forever Beautiful shops.
