Quli Qutb Shah I Sultan

The Founder of the sovereignty of Golkonda. Quli's father Qutb-ul-Malmulk came to India and served Muhamood Shah Bahmani. He was killed while trying to capture the fort of Jamkonda. After his death his title and office was granted to his son Sultan Quli and Talingana as his jagir, which he ruled for fifty years (thirty-two years as king).
