Mahmud Shaukat Pasha

Death:1914

The son of the Governor of Basra. Mahmud was educated at the Defence College, Constantinople. He joined Anjuman Itihad wa Taraqi (Young Turks) which was founded in 1904 and became its active member. Mahmud Shaukat Pasha became the prime minister of Turkey in 1908, but he was assassined in 1914.
