Muqimuddin Farooqi

An Indian politician. Farooqi was Secretary of the Communist party of India for 25 years and a member of its central executive committee for 27 years. 'Amidst the rapid degeneration of ideals in politics, Farooqi clung to the values of the freedom struggle'. He never fought an election after India's independence. Muqimuddin Farooqi was born in Ambretha, U.P.
