Muhammad Hussain Muhammad Ashraf

Death:2000

Politician. Ashraf who formed a Muslim political party, in a short period of time, made tangible contribution to the community in Sri Lanka. A charismatic leader endowed with courage and vision was also controversial who did not tolerate dissent. Ashraf was born in the backwoods of Sammanturai and died in a helicopter crash in the misty mountains of Urakanda in Sri Lanka.
