Mir Damad Muhammad Baqar

A teacher, philosopher and leader of the cultural renaissance of Iran in the 17th century. Mir Damad authored Taqwim ul Iman and was given the title of al Muslim as salis (i.e. third teacher - the first two being Aristotle and Al Farabi). Mir Damad was the real founder of the theosophical school known as the School of Isfahan. Mir Damad died in Najar.
