Merali Haj Ahmad

An Algerian nationalist leader.
Mehali was the head of Worker's Association in 1927, and spent his life in forming pro-independence organisations, participating in underground activities, suffering imprisonment and agitating both in Algeria and France.
In 1929 Mehrali called for revolt against the French rule and founded PPA in 1920s.
Mehrali Haj Ahmad spent his last days in Paris.
