Rumi, Book II, Line 39
Sleep when it is accompanied by wisdom,
is spiritual wakefulness, alas for man awake
who consort with the ignorant.
Comment: For a while, after book one, he remained silent.
When he broke the silence, he wrote 110 lines of poems explaining
how and why he had delayed writing. Many mysticisms can be seen in
these 110 poems.
