BOURNEMOUTH SUSPECTS BAILED WITHOUT CHARGE

15 January 2003

On Sunday 12 January, detectives from the Metropolitan and Dorset police forces arrrested six persons in Bournemouth, including one woman. On 15 January the Financial Times reported that Police have bailed five persons and are "playing down" suggestions that the arrests had links with an "alleged terrorist plot to use ricin". The woman is still under detention for immigration reasons.
