Share articles which explain the situation honestly, so they can reach a wider audience

4. SEE FOR YOURSELF WHAT'S HAPPENING IN GAZA

Most people don't see what's happening in Gaza because most Western media channels don't show the reality of what's happening, and have no access to events because Israeli has banned all international journalists from entering Gaza. Aljazeera is the only international media channel with journalists inside Gaza right now, showing images and coverage you won't see on any other channel.

6. CONTACT OR VISIT YOUR MP and MEP about the need for a more balanced foreign policy.

You can e-mail, write to, call or visit your MP and he/she is obliged to give you a response - their job is to serve you and respond to your concerns.

To send a letter, all you have to do is visit www.iparl.com and put in your postcode - easy as that. Alternatively, you can use the letter attached

Call/e-mail the Foreign Secretary David Miliband to register your protest at the Government's stance. The more messages they receive about this, the better. For the Foreign Office, call 020 7008 1500 or e-mail: private.office@fco.gov.uk

You can even write to the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street, London, SW1A 2AA

7. WRITE TO THE MEDIA - VERY IMPORTANT

Place pressure on British media organisations to be even-handed in their reporting and call Israeli actions in Gaza for what it is – state terrorism.

Contact media outlets to either praise balanced coverage or to criticise biased coverage. Call in to radio talk shows and write letters to the editor to express your views.

8. BLOG

Post comments on media websites and blogs that discuss the crisis. As part of Israel's propaganda campaign, they've unleashed a number of bloggers to influence web discussions of the situation and spread lies. Don't let them dominate the discussion - make sure you get the truth across, even if it's just a line or two.
