Haroon AhmedProfessor Haroon Ahmed

Haroon Ahmed is Master of Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge and Professor of Microelectronics at the Cavendish Laboratory. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and holds the degree of Doctor of Science from Cambridge University. Haroon Ahmed has worked at the University of Cambridge in the Engineering and Physics Departments for more than 33 years and was elected a Fellow of Corpus Christi College in 1967.

He graduated in Engineering from Imperial College and has worked in the Engineering Department as well as the Physics Department of Cambridge University. He has published several hundred scientific papers including several papers on single electron devices and their application in future generations of semiconductor chips.
