Biographical detail :	The Ottoman Sultan. Ibrahim’s reign (1640-48) was marked by war and rebellions, a long war during 1645-69 with the Venetian, when he invaded Crete. Ibrahim was deposed by a Janissary uprising in 1648 and killed.
