In the thirty-seven years from 1470 to 1506 of his rule in Herat Baiqara gave the Timuried empire fairly peaceful conditions in spite of rebellions by his sons.
Hussain Baiqara was an enlightened monarch who patronised poets like Ali Sher Navai and was a renowned patron of arts. He himself wrote Turkish and Persian poetry. |
