| Biographical detail : | A Syrian Kurdish nationalist leader. Like his brother Surayya, he devoted his life for establishing a unified Khurdish state. In 1927 he was appointed the first president of the Khurdish National Leagues.
He was the first editor of the bilingual Khurdish French review Hawar and also of Runahi his later illustrated publication. |
