|Biographical detail : ||A physician and political reformer of India.
Hakim Ajmal Khan set up Tibbi Conference and laid the foundation of the Vaidic Yunani Tibia College in 1916. He was the chief administrator of Jame Millia in 1920.
He was known as Masihul Mulk and under his presidency (1921) of Congress the civil disobedience movement was passed.
Hakim Ajmal Khan was a very popular figure in Delhi. He took active part in the Khilafat Movement. He took interest and supported the movement started by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan for education and betterment of India’s Muslims.
Ajmal Khan was reported as shot dead while he stayed at his acquaintance in Rampur.
