Biographical detail : Son of Muhammad Shah, King of Delhi, whom he succeeded in 1748, He was deposed by his prime minister Ghaziuddin Khan in 1754 and imprisoned. Alamgir II, son of Jehandar Shah, came to the throne after his imprisonment.
