Biographical detail :	Iraqi scholar and leader of the Kurdish Islamic movement. Shaikh ‘Uthman was actively involved in the spread of Islamic education by establishing schools in Iraq and Iran. Shaikh Uthman authored a 17-volume tasfir (Kurdish translation and explanation of the meaning of The Qur’an). Shaikh ‘Uthman Abdul Aziz who was a calm and modest man and promoted a cordial and constructive relationship was born in Halabja and died on a visit to United Arab Emirates.
