Rashiddin was the author of the celebrated history book, Jami al Tawarikh, which contained very informative chapters about the social and economic conditions of Islamic countries under Ghazan during 1295-1304.
Rashiduddin joined the court of the Mongol ruler of Iran and became vizier of Ghazan in 1298 and also served under Oljaitu (a Mongol king), Ghazan's successor. Abu Said, son of Oljaitu, killed him. |
