Biographical Data :

Name :Muhammad Bin Abdullah
Period : - 762
Biographical detail : The great grandson of Hazrat Hasan, called Nafs al Zakia (the pure soul ) for he was gentle, brave and an ideal character.

After the death of Walid the Ummayed caliph, many including the Mutaazilites recognised him as the legitimate heir to the caliphate and even Abu Jaffar who later became the Abbasid Caliph paid homage to him. But when Malik bin Anas declared invalid his oath taken in favour of the Abasids and Muhammad bin Abdullah took over Madinah, Abu Jaffar the Abbasid caliph hurriedly left Baghdad which he was building at that time, came to Kufa and sent Isa bin Musa with a force of 4,000 men. Muhammad's forces fell in December 762 and his head was cut off and sent to Abu Jaffar (al Mansur)
