FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
EVOCA ENTERPRISES LTD, ASDA PRESS CONFERENCE SUMMARY
Evoca
Enterprises celebrated the launch of Evoca Cola in Asda on 13th March
2006. At a joint Press Conference held at Asda Walthamstow, Intisar
Qasim, Managing Director of Evoca Enterprises and Andy Long, Local
Trading Manager for ASDA, explained how Evoca and ASDA were looking
forward to enjoying a bright future together. Andy explained that
Evoca Cola was selling very well and had already "outsold Pepsi Cola
in its first week". Grocery manager Bill Pearce said Evoca Cola was "a
golden product…right up there with the major brands". He said he felt
confident about Evoca's future in Asda.
Andy said that ASDA are already looking at stocking Evoca Cola in
further stores and both Andy and Bill said as well as being very
appealing to the ethnic market due to it's special extract of Black
Seed, they felt that Evoca Cola had mainstream appeal due to it being
made with 100% natural mineral water, and has the potential to
eventually be stocked in all of its stores in the UK.
Evoca's Managing Director Intisar Qasim explained that the Asda launch
was important to the company and he was impressed at their knowledge
of ethnic products and ethnic consumer needs. He explained how Evoca
Cola is already being exported to South Africa, will be launched in
France this summer and has just granted distribution rights for the
entire North of England to an independent distributor based in
Bradford. Evoca's Press spokesman Atif Salahuddin explained the
history of the company, the time and investment made in developing the
branding of the product and the perfection of the taste. He explained
the company's mission was to compete head on with the mainstream
brands by providing the highest quality products yet being
competitively priced by providing customers "more for less".

To wrap up the media event the press were then taken into the store to
perform actual taste tests on customers shopping in the store. Evoca
received overwhelming backing from customers. Customers found the
addition of black seed extract to the drink very appealing. Some of
the comments made by customers were "It's refreshing", "It's very
nice" and "It's as good as Pepsi and Coke".
Victoria Collinson, Asda's National Ethnic Line Manager said "Evoca is
a fantastic product and a great example of Asda's policy of listening
to customers."

NOTES TO EDITORS:
Evoca Enterprises Ltd is a soft drinks company that was founded in
2003, and is based in London. The company was founded by young
entrepreneurial British Muslims born and raised in the UK. Their
ethnic backgrounds range from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and
Mauritius, therefore Evoca is well placed to understand the needs of
the Muslim community.
The company focuses on providing only the highest quality premium soft
drinks products using only the best available ingredients, and is
currently in the process of expanding its product range.
Its flagship product, Evoca Cola, is a great tasting cola drink made
with only 100% mineral water and contains a special extract of black
seed (Nigella Sativa) a herb which is very well known in a variety of
cultures (for more information on black seed, visit
www.evocadrinks.com). Black seed is especially renowned in Muslim
culture, being mentioned in various ahadith, holding a unique
religious value for Muslims across the world. The drink is halal,
therefore being ideal for Muslims.
The company has sponsored various Muslim events and will continue to
do so. Evoca firmly believes in competing with other products on the
merits of quality, something Muslims can draw pride from. Evoca is
well positioned to provide quality soft drinks alternatives to the
major brands that are available, something which has been recognised
by ASDA.
The company already exports Evoca Cola to South Africa and has just
granted distribution rights for the North of England to an independent
distributor based in Bradford. Evoca is currently in negotiations with
parties wishing to take franchise rights to Evoca products in a number
of different international locations, including France, Holland and
Mauritius. The company also has received inquiries from and has longer
term plans to launch Evoca Cola in the Middle East, India, Pakistan
and other parts of the Muslim world.
