Mustafa Kamil Pasha

Journalist and lawyer To promote his thoughts Mustafa Kamil Pasha founded al Liwa, a newspaper in 1900 and founded the National party, al Hizb al watani in 1907. Kamil Pasha first sought help from France but after the British French Entente in 1904, he sought assistance from the Ottoman Sultan to help Egypt in its struggle. Kamil Pasha was a nationalist journalist and a lawyer who along with Zaghlul Pasha and Arabi Pasha was one of the founders of modern Egypt. Mustafa Kamil Pasha was born in Cairo.
