The author of many books in history, geography, literature and other subjects in Arabic. He translated many books from Persian into Arabic. Author of Fatuh ul Buldan, an account of Islamic conquests of different lands, was well known and was published both from Europe and Egypt. He was called Baladary, because he died consuming it (Baladur is a kind of nut) - see Ahmad Bin Yahya Bin Jabir Al Biladuri.
