Iranian vocalist One of the best known female vocalists, whose singing career spanned more than half a century, Elaheh's several performances included the popular National Radio programme. 'Golha', hosted many highly esteemed Iranian vocalists. Her best-known songs include 'Rosvayeh Zamaneh' (Revealed to the World) and 'Az khoon-e Javanan-e-Vatan Laleh Damideh' (Tulips grow from the blood of the country's youth). Her songs were used in the first radio programme on air announcing the new re Elaheh left her country and went to Los Angeles where she lived during 1980s and 1990s. She returned to Iran in 2003. After her death with cancer, Iran's National Radio aired a one-hour programme of her songs. She was recognised for her contribution to music. Elaheh was born Bahar Gholam Hosseinin.
