Ali Wardi Khan
Styled Mahabat Jang, his real name was Mirza Muhammad Ali.
He had come to Orissa, India, along with his father where Nawab Shujauddin, son-in-law of Murshid Quli Jaffar Khan (The governor of Bengal) treated him with kindness and got him the title of Ali Wardi Khan. Ali Wardi Khan usurped the kingdom after his death in 1740 and ruled over Bengal, Bihar and Orissa. His grand nephew Siraj-ud-daula succeeded him.
