Ali Mardan Khan
A great architect and Governor of Qandhar on behalf of the king of Iran.
Due to differences with the Shah came to Delhi during the reign of Shahjehan in 1637, and was made governor of Kashmir and Kabul.
He constructed many buildings and canals. He is believed to have introduced the bulbous dome into Indian architecture.
