Al Sulami Abu Al Rahman Muhammad Bin Al Hussain

Born at Nishapur, Iran, was called Sulami by his Arabian tribe name. His commentary on the Qur'an was called Haqaiq Al Tafsir and Tabqat Al Sufiyin was the history of Sufism. Jami's famous Nafhaat Al Uns was based on this work. He was a most important figure in the history of Sufism and deserved a better place as a hagiographer.
