Death:

The wife of Al-Mutamid the ruler of Seville, Spain 1068-91. Many anecdotes were told about her talent and beauty by Dozy, the famous historian of Muslim Spain. She went to prison along with her husband when Yusuf Ibn Tafshin (1061-1106) the ruler of Morocco annexed the Spanish Muslim Kingdom in 1091. Itimad along with her husband wrote beautiful verses, one of which was translated by Allama Iqbal and was called The Plaint of Mutamid from the prison.
