Author. Ibn Al Awwam's book on agriculture Kitab al Fillaha was written in Seville. It dealt with agronomy, cattle and poultry farming and had many interesting observations on manure, soils, and plant grafting and plant diseases. The book was translated in Spanish in early 1800s.
