The poet Laureate of Tipu Sultan of Mysore. Hasan authored Kok Shashtar, an obscene satire on women paraphrased from the Sanskrit to Urdu verse. There was another translation of the same work called Lazzat-un-Nissa by Ziauddin Nakhshabi.
