Born at Balkh he was an astronomer and astrologer. He wrote Da Maqnis Conjunctionibus and Floves Astrologici. The later was one of the first astronomical books to be printed in 1486. He held that the world was created when the seven planets were in conjunction in the first degree of Aries and will come to an end with a similar conjunction in the last degree of Pisces.
