A Barrister, diplomat and immigration counsellor.
He was born in Chandpur (Bangladesh), started his career in India, later on Pakistan's First Secretary and Consul-General in London and New York. In 1970, he joined the UK Immigrants Advisory Service as counsellor.
Ahmad did a great deal to help the Bangladeshi and other Asian communities in UK.
He died in Stockport (UK).
