The wife of Caliph Harun Rashid and daughter of Caliph Jafar bin Abdullah and step mother of Caliph Mamun Rashid. Zubaida Khatoon was well educated and it is said that embroidery on clothes was her invention. She was the founder of Tabriz (806) and she constructed a canal in Hejaz.
