An Indian nationalist leader.
Syed Hasan Imam took a leading part in Khilafat movement. He was included as a member of the Congress delegation (to represent the Muslim point of view) that was sent to England.
Syed Hasan Imam was President of Board of Trustees of Beharee, a leading English daily of Bihar. He was also the founder of the Searchlight, an English daily newspaper from Patna, a popular daily from Bihar, in the past.
Syed Hasan Imam was born in Neora, Patna.
