Scientist and philosopher. Mahmud autobiography Rihlati min al shakk ila al iman became a best seller in Egypt in the 1970s. Mahmud founded the Mustafa Mahmud's Society in 1975 in Cairo to help the poor and thousand of families have been benefiting by the Society. The Society's hospital provides physical examinations, blood test, kidney dialysis, and CT scans and heart treatment. Mahmud was educated in Cairo University.
